Something I have slowly begun to realize about myself is the moment I start posting about a project and try to make headway on the marketing side I loose my grip on my novel and end up feeling like I’m swimming up hill through a tsuanami of mud.

I was making amazing headway, hitting 8k every single week and now I’m only managing 2k. Which yes, that’s still good…but not when you’ve put yourself on a deadline and that deadline is a month with less days!

In other news I made the bold choice to start a patreon. My idea is to post chapters to patreon early (once I’ve finished and edited a couple of times) and then to royal road to hopefully gain some readers before I actually publish.

Ugh, anyways, this is a short update because ya girl is feeling slight burn out and just wants to sleep/read.

Stay writing so I can live vicariously through you.

Oh and you can follow me on IG, Threads, and Patreon <3

Absolutely! Any progress is progress, and that’s something to be proud about!

I agree! It’s hard to let ourselves accept that in the moment I would say. Appreciate the comment <3
