Welcome friends, enemies, acquaintances, maybe that one person from high school who has kept weird tabs ever since. This is the first blog post…obviously. I went for really straight forward on the title. Not because I couldn’t come up with anything more creative and was too tired to try anything else but because I felt like it.

            I can’t really tell you what you’re in for, because frankly I have no clue. I have gotten to a point in my writing “career” (attempted writing career? Aspiring writing career?) where I no longer care to try and fit into what the online ideology is for what a writer has to look like. Writing is an artform just like any and although syntax and proper grammar are necessary for proper communication, I think a lot of things can be flexible. Therefore, I barely plan a thing and even if I do it’s in a fit of weird creative passion that starts at 1 am on a Tuesday and ends Saturday on my lunch break.

            What I can tell you is that my writing will primarily be done with the intention of making you smile or laugh. I might try and make you think but I promise not to make you think too hard, I’m not aiming to give anyone an aneurysm here. I like light, and I like fluffy. I want to make someone’s day because they read an insane little short story about a man who goes on a ridiculous journey for eggs (hint, see short story posted!).

            I think a lot of what the online world has become is a place for public discord and debate which definitely has a place, but if you’re like me you often feel bogged down by all the information that feels like is constantly being thrown at you. I have happily found my way onto a healthier algorithm that provides me laughter and a lightness that helps balance the day to day stresses of life. I want to add to that side of the little online bubble.

            On top of trying to make you laugh, I will most likely try to softly coerce anyone who dares to read this to pick up the books I’m reading because I have a strange obsession with people needing to suffer the fantasy lives I’ve lived alongside me.
