Something kind of awesome happened today!

I’m a Canadian. Born and raised on maple syrup and sorry’s. Well, Indigo, Canada’s version of Barnes and Nobel and whatever popular powerhouse of a bookstore you might be familiar with, has independent Instagram’s for their locations.

And one of their locations liked my Instagram photo!!! Somehow, an Indigo location in Ontario came across Day 10 of Becoming a Published Author and liked what they saw!!!

Jaw meet floor, flabber meet ghasted. You get the drift.

It put the biggest grin on my face, and I’ve been riding the high ever since. It, for obvious reasons, put me in a great mood to keep writing. I feel like I’m getting to the point where I would be comfortable starting in on the second draft. Maybe another week or two, see how much more I can squeeze out my brain, and then restart the whole process and make it smoother…and less chaotic.

With that being said, I do think I may need to give myself a reprieve. I’m writing every single day for my project and doing this blog AND posting to social media AND working a full-time job…and just, ya know, being an adult. It’s a lot and I yearn for some more downtime. I’m thinking this weekend my Saturday will be a write as much as I can day and Sunday will be bare minimum. I have the itch to restart playing Uncharted so I likely will spend most of my Sunday doing that.

I hope all of y’all meet some of your writing goals but also take some time to enjoy yourself this weekend ❤

Okayyyyy word counts!!

Project Prophecy:53,338

Project Ghosted: 3389 (This will likely be the next book I push for and publish so give it time. This number will go up soon enough)

Stay writing so the book stores can find you.
